you can see in this picture how some of the new panels stick out past the panel next to them. all of this extra plastic will be cut/sanded/filed down in the fitment of the completed panel to the dash.
here is a close shot of the right side after the new panels have been installed and contoured to fit the new dash lense.
you can see in this picture how liberal i got with the glue on the second pass. the glue also helped to fill minor gaps where some of the corners met.

i havent installed the dash trim yet .... when i did the wiring i also integrated a DEI remote start system. i still need to install it's brain. i am so pleased with the results of this swap that my next convertible will be a 75 so i will have the 75-76 dash to work with again, i will use 74 taillights and front end sheetmetal and inner door panels. i will post pics soon of the final dash, ECM mounting and engine compartment.
