Santa gave us a new alarm clock for Christmas.....no cheapie, this was supposed to be a "good one". All you do is plug it in and it sets itself. All week it went off at 6:15 AM without a hitch, the only trouble is those tiny little buttons that don't like my big fingers. It seemed no matter how I tried, every morning I couldn't get the blasted thing to turn off and stay off. :(

Saturday and Sunday mornings the wife and I like to sleep in just a little. Yesterday morning it went off and I didn't even set it! One good nights sleep down the crapper. Then this morning it did the same thing! I shut it off once, just got back to sleep, and 5 minutes later it goes off again! And it keeps getting louder until you turn it off! You have to turn a light on in order to see the buttons. Now I'm really mad, so I unplugged it and threw it across the room......

5 Minutes later, just as we got back to sleep again, and it goes off again.....and it wasn't even plugged in!

The power backup battery cover even has a second locking tab on it......took me 5 minutes just to open it! This thing is possessed.......it would have been easier to crack open a safe! By the time I got the batteries out of this thing we were both wide awake. After I calmed down, I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life........my wife was hysterical. Turns out the cancel button doesn't work. :Dou:

&%$# china crap......I'm gonna just buy an old fashioned one on ebay. My eyes couldn't focus on those cheesey blue numbers anyway :puzzled:
