I put this in the members rides section, but since im new on the block Ill put this in the intro forum also...

Im in NEPA, a reformed MOPAR addict, full time grad student working 2 jobs and grinding it out. Always likes Buick GS and GSX, so when the oppertunity to aquire one presented itself, I quickly dumped my 66 Dodge Coronet S/S Drag Car Tribute and joined the Buick camp. Anyway here are some specs...

The car was originally a GS 350 has now been made into a GSX, Here are some specs...
FRESH 455 (BUILT TO STAGE 1 SPECS...NEW PISTONS, RINGS, BEARINGS, STAGE 1 CAM, LIFTERS, VALVES, SPRINGS, OIL PUMP KIT, DOUBLE ROLLER TIMING SET, EDELBROCK B-4-B ALUMINUM INTAKE MANIFOLD, FEL PRO GASKETS AND SEALS, AND TONS OF MACHINE WORK.... ), Q-jet 800cfm, Trans is a BUILT TH-400 W/SHIFT KIT, HAS NEW GLASS GS HOOD w/ correct Buick hood tach, REAR SPOILER, HOOD TACHOMETER, CARPET, DOOR PANELS, headliner... Interior is Black, has strato buckets, console, floorshifter, Buick sport wheel, front suspension and complete front disk brake system has been completely redone, brand new aluminum factory spec dual exaust. Car has 71 bumpers, eventually Ill put the correct 70 ones on.

Yea I used to go all the time, I had a 66 dodge coronet ex drag car. im looking fwd to going this year, if I can work the bugs out. I am trying to figure out why the idle fluctuates on my car and idles rough when it reaches operating temp. No time to work on it though because of work and grad school. Do you know of any garages local knowlegeable with these cars? Do you remember the yellow GSX (not this one) that used to be in w-b late 90's? Wonder ehat happened to that one. Your car is really nice, Ive seen that arround.

I do know a guy who is knowledgeable with older musclecars. I've taken my Buick to him plenty of times. If you want his name and number I'll PM it to you. I did know of the yellow GSX floating around. Last I heard is a guy had it in a garage with a collection of cars. I'm not sure if it's still there though. Let me know when you start taking your car out. We'll have to meet up sometime.

Yea meeting up sounds good. I hope the car will be done by may 1. 2 jobs full time grad school and the cold wether have been cutting into my GSX time. The other GSX in WB was owned by a guy named Joe Solomon who owned waste reduction inc in hanover twp. The car was a little beat up but wickedly fast. I hope that car is still arround somewhere because I heard a lot of rumors it was destroyed. If you don't mind pm that guys # to me id appriciate it.
