Ken, those are very neat shots! Really nice to see how your Dad's car looked when you bought it from him.Imagine guys, that GSX was only 6 years old!!! :eek2: Thanks for posting these pictures Ken! ....and don't worry, your GSX will look just as good if not better. Just look at my Stage 1.
Hey! I'm that girl in the picture!!! Hi guys, Now, wouldn't ya think that "Kevin Bacon" (nice, Mr. TSTCLR, very nice!) could've picked a much better picture of me to post after all these years... My oh my, imagine my surprise. And yes, I remember the GSX very well! Just beautiful! Especially after I would personally clean her windows with newspapers on Saturday afternoons before date nights. Oh, and Ken? You're much cuter than Kevin Bacon! Much. C-Ya!
KEN...........buddy....Is there something you would like to explain to the rest of the class here?? Cuter than Kevin Bacon huh? When I was younger,I couldn't get any girls to wash my cars windows....let alone get in for a ride  You musta made a good impression on that lady to get a post like that....I'm telling! Funny thing...you two standing there resemble the Owls in the background. ou:
Ken - thats got to be my favorite color on the X. And 70's girl - that is tooo cool! Thanks for being in the Buick family! (Hey, anyone who has cleaned windows with newspaper(nice detailing) is in the family - forever!) Watch out, or Yardley will be pasted in there soooon... lol - Bill
I've been called "cute" on a forum dedicated to muscle cars.... And I look like an owl too?? I had Bacon on my sandwich at lunch today, that's as close as I get to Kevin Bacon! Hey 70'sGirl (Carol) welcome to V8Buick.com. I didn't think you'd honestly follow up on your threat to register and post. LOL You can stay as long as you don't me "cute" or "sensistive". OR I'LL POST MORE PICTURES OF YOU! :moonu: PS- Thanks for keeping those windows clean on date night...
Ok, alright, no more cuteness or sensitivity remarks from me! I wonder, though, if anyone in this "Born to be Wild" crowd can remember the lyrics to "Footloose." Do you, KEV? Er, Ken... We look like owls? What a hoot! But seriously, what a great online community this is! Take care guys!
Yeah, Greg, those are some nice hooters! :bglasses: No, 70's Girl, no idea on the Footloose lyrics... LOL
Trim Question Hi Ken, Really nice pics.Does the car have rear hood trim & the upper rear corner fender trim?I can't really tell from the pics. thanks Jeff PS really cool you can stay in touch with an ex-girl friend & your wife doesn't mind. That wouldn't go over very good around here :spank:
Hey- Yes the car has upper peak trim, trunk lip trim, body side molding, and door edge molding. Pretty weird for a GSX, eh? It might help to explain that while I was dating this girl, my wife was dating my best friend. Kinda weird that way things work out, but the point is we all know each other. I think it also helps that I live on the right coast and she lives on the left coast!
Whoa........ Ken, The pic of your X is allmost as nice as the one of the "girl" :Brow: She is the splitting image of my first fiancee, could have been separated at birth. :eek2: I'll try to find an old pic to put up for comparison. uzzled: D. Oh geez, Beth should love this, I'll be getting the :spank: for sure
That 70's Girl's Evil twin With a slightly different hairdo & dressed casually................... Tell me I'm crazy here........pic circa 1979 D.
Parallel Lives... Yes, I do see the resemblance. And That70sGirl was also my first fiancee (for a while). And her birth mother is from the Midwest.... Ooooooo, spooky! Maybe they're the same girl! Hey, That70sGirl, you have something to tell us? o No: And Beth, this is strictly a scientific comparison, no harm no foul intended. Everyone knows you da woman for Dana! I'll bet the girl in the pic couldn't do this! :3gears:
Ken, Very nice! "Hey Tonay!.....I love that polyester look baby........feel the music baby, feel the music...." Quote taken from the disco D.J. in Saturday Night Fever.
Hey! I see a resemblence too! But o No: really really do not like looking at that old picture! Hey Ken, shouldn't I have had to sign a release of some sort? Really now! Maybe I'm related to ThatOther70sGirl... Ya think? Too funny. I'll ask her to lunch to trade stories about high school boys who :3gears: and drive fast (especially if we were a little past curfew!)...
HEY.....Watch the way you talk about those OWLS !!!!!!! *** ***( I find that offensive......does anyone else find that offensive???)
