    Hi guys,

Well, after almost 10 years, I finally got another Buick! I sold my '70 GS 455 conv. so we could buy a house back in 1997. I found this car on the Auto Trader web site and after seeing many pictures and a few discussions with the owner, I bought it and had it shipped to me.

I was a little nervous buying a car sight-unseen, but another board member knew the car and vouched for it. It turned out to be extremly nice! It's got 51k original miles and is like new inside. It was painted around 1990 and needs a good polish. There are a few scratches and chips, but it will do for a few years until I get around to painting it. It looks like it was maybe hit in the drivers quarter at some point, as the quarter was changed and the trunk floor is buckled slightly where the inner wheelhouse meets the floor. The only evidence of rust I could find is about 1" of the rear window channel that was fibreglassed, probably when it was last painted. You can see it from inside the trunk.

Here is a pic. I will get more up in a couple of months. We just moved and are living in our camper until August when we get our new house.

First job is new wheels and tires. Still has the bias ply tires on it. What a weird driving experience!
