Well I'm calling it that because it's got a little bit of everything in it.Guy advertised it as a 71 Skylark on it's way to a GS Stage 1 clone. The vin# didn't make sense, looked as if he forgot a digit. He emailed me back with the correct vin#,sure enough it was a real GS.He didn't know much about Buicks, only that it was scary fast.I told him it was a real GS,he didn't care and took my offer. Here's what I found out about the car,it is scary fast, and it is a 71 GS with 72 bumpers, hood grilles, grille, and door panels.Seats are from a mid 80's 442,has power windows and front disc brakes, non ac car.Engine is a 1970 SR code 455,with stage 1 heads,T/A SP1 intake with a holley carb.Hooker headers and a monster cam where I can't get it to idle properly, but will drive down the street without a glitch.Has a TH400 from a 67 Riviera, and a chevy 10 bolt with 4:10 posi rear. The car will burn the tires to the rim,I can't get any traction, but it is a blast to drive and is in relativley good shape, only needing rear floor pan and bottom of both doors have rust in corners.Frame and core support solid as are the fenders and quarters.Paint still shines nice, but has some issues that are hard to pick up from photos.Looks like it has some bondo here and there, but all in all I think I got a nice car, take a look. All I did was clean it up a little with some detailing on the emblems and rockers.Changed the 14's that came with the car to 15's and 255/60's all around. Also came with a set of 70 442 buckets that need covers, but in good shape.
