I've been scoping out cars to replace my Ford Ranger. Mainly Rivieras, Park Avenues, Sevilles and even considered a Bonneville. Yesterday (Sunday) I went and walked some lots when I came across this '92 Park Ave. At a Honda dealer of all places. Looks good, I look at the odometer and first thought it said 310,000 miles. Wait a minute....:eek2: That says 31,000 and the seats look like they have never been sat in! No price marked, so when I got home I looked through the paper and lo and behold there it is advertised as 31,000 original miles, Took a 1/2 day today and went back first thing. This thing was priced the same as most of the cars I looked at with over 100,000 on them. I drove it to work later in this morning. Here are a few pics from Sunday.
Attaboy Dale! :TU: I keep telling my wife we should look into a Park Avenue, or a LeSabre when the van's time has come... :Smarty:
Dale, nice creampuff. My in-laws have the same car, with a 3.8 supercharged mill. Very nice score:3gears: D.
Nice find, Dale:beer :TU: And with 31,000 miles on it,(it even looks like it has less than that!) there is plenty more miles to spare:bglasses: -Cody
Those are excellant cars, and with the 3800 engine you can reasonably expect to get at least another 200,000 miles no problem.Very comfortable as well. I purchased a wrecked 92 LeSabre with 38,000 miles on it last year, repaired and drove it for a while and traded it to my parents so I could give thier high mileage car to my 16 year old daughter. Now that it is gone I kind of miss it as it was a very comfortable car to drive and for a big car got good gas mileage and ice cold air.
Yeah, they are awesome engines! I had a '90 Riv (Same colors oddly enough) And we recently traded the wife's '96 LeSabre in on a Grand Cherokee, so I am very confident it will give me years of trouble free driving. Also, this one never had that Dexcool in it, and doesn't have the plastic intake like the series II engine. :spank:
