    my plans

i found it on ebay i gave 2200 for her. shes pretty solid for her age.she has a 401 4 barrel. my plans are to get a factory dual quad set up with factory aluminum buick valve covers, a bigger cam, headers and dual exhaust. the trans is toast, i'm not sure what kind it is. it has a shift pattern of p n d l r. i think its either a turbine drive or a dynaflow. i'm clueless about these old transmissions, what can i fit in there as a replacement and what can i use that came stock that would be good for racing. this has an x shaped frame with the drive shaft covered inside the frame. the rear end is unusual too. it looks like a ford 9 inch it has no rear cover. i think its a gm rear end someone said it might be a hypoid semi floating rear end with a 3:23 i have not checked it out yet. it may even be a posi. if its a hypoid is that a good axle? the brakes are power drums and they are huge 12" or bigger fronts are aluminum backs are steel. only working break is the emergency. it has power steering, no a/c or radio. its about 18 feet long. i also need to get the gas tank redone or go with a fuel cell. it leaks and its a custom made tank. the car has 50k on it and the motor runs great. as for the body this year i'm going to make it all black primer and next year paint it black with a textured black top. the interior needs woork the door panels are bad the dash pad is cracked so it will need some custom work. the front and rear bumper are the same on this car too. i'm hoping to turn this into a nice street and strip show car, nothing radical that isn't streetable.

Now that is totally cool/unique. Reminds me of the Buick Wagon (hearse) on craigslist in Los Angeles. I tried to put in the exact address, but it got deleted. So hit up craigslist in LA, it is like a 72 Estate Wagon, same colors as this one.
