    Nice looking car!:TU:

Replace that trunk seal so the trunk floor won't rust out any more than it is.

    455...woohoo!

Thanks man, I ordered the complete seal kit from "ebay". I hope it fits great and is the right kit. I just want the car running and reliable first, then the body and interior can be worked on. Im going for a very diferent look then what most people are used to seeing. I cant wait for it to be done.

Looks like a nice car. Anything wrong with your 350 or just wanting more power? Keep up the good work.

Very Nice Ride. Looks solid and very clean. I'm no matching numbers guy. But from what I see the car is a 1970 and the air cleaner looks like a 72. The reason I pointed it out Is your interest on the engine and the air cleaner Decale. You could always run the numbers and see if the engine is a 70 if you even wanted to. But It will work either way and is going to be a great ride. I wish it was mine, I always liked the 70 a little better than the 71. Are you going to post some more pics for us. I woild like to see a few more shots.

I want it to look a little RatFink, I was going to go with Satin Black Paint and Semi Gloss Black pin-stripping, chrome bumpers, chorme grill and wheel trim, chrome mirrors and door handles, chrome 17x8 front and 17x9 rear rims. Interior will be black and aluminaum trim.

I dont know anything about the 350 except that its in peaces. I bought the 455 from a buick guru here in hawaii for 1500 complete and ready to rock. Our race track closed down here on oahu for a few years now so guys are selling some pertty cool cars since they cant drive them.

All my paper for my car say it a 72, not sure whats different from 70 to 72. As is, all the numbers have been matching so far on the car. I will post more pictures today or tomorrow.

    Thanks guys.......

Hahaha......I promise not to leave dents in the doors!

I have a box full of all the parts missing from the photos, and yes, I plan to rebuild this engine before dropping it in the car. I'll start working on it today after work.

saw that your wanting a satin black with gloss an red stripes. well just so happens that is what my car is. here is a picture of it an the best part of it is since we were on a short budget we used tractor paint an it turned out great.

also my interior is the same. dont have pics of it at the moment. but we did most of the work ourselves

On Mary's 72 I used the tractor paint from Atwoods. 27 bucks a gallon. Works good but you will need to use the hardner that they sell also. One of the good things about that paint it only needs to be 50 deg. temp to spray.

You're gonna love the sound from those headers! Mickey Thompson Super Scavengers, or at least the reproduction ones.

What kind of intake is that? And what's the list number on the carb? Could be worth more than you think.
