i just picked up a 76 electra limited with a 455 and only 53,097miles. this sounds great, but... it has been sitting in a garage since 1986. 20 years is a long time to sit, and did this beast more harm than good. it's not too god awfull bad, but i do need a tune up, brake/fuel lines(to be safe), an exhaust, tires, and rear bumper fillers(EDIT-->the filler pieces were so dry rotted they fell off the car when i touched them) to get this car legal and on the road. i found a set of fillers for like $360 bucks on some website, but that is way more than i paid for the entire car, so i am having a hard time justifying that. thanks in advance* -jake
Won't be easy to find original fillers...well known problem for those urethane fillers to dry out .... I assume you 're talking about this site? http://www.replica-plastics.com/EditParts.aspx?Make=Buick
no, actually i was talking about like carjunky.com or something? is a regular electra the same as a limited one? if so they are $60 a piece on this sight... thanks
