need a 72 hood trim...

    i've got the flat kind on my hood right now, but it doesn't match my headlight bezel's...so i guess i need the more rounded one.

    thanks for the help anyone who has info on it.

    I have a 72 one I will trade for a 71 if that is what you have. Can you post a picture?

    i'll take a picture of it tomorrow for you! got a new digital camera so it will take much better pics than all my old shots of the car...

    That is a 72 trim. It's hard to tell but it looks like the bezels are 72 also.

    looks like the hood is bent back a little.

    well i got the trim piece off another skylark, but it was with a different hood...the piece didn't have matching bezel's and i no longer have my stock piece as it went with my 71 gs when i sold it.

    anyone know where i could get bezel's to match this type of hood trim or the correct hood trim that i need?

    Post a picture of the bezels you have on there now.

    the left bezel is a 72 .





    YOUR HOOD IS BENT.

    well i guess when the time come around for my repaint this spring i'll look into fixing my hood.

    still i know no one remakes the 72 trim but any leads on someone selling it? i would like to get one before i do a repaint.

    thanks for all the comments though guys helps me to get an outside opinion.

    one swift wack with a block of wood and a rubber hammer from the backside will bring it inline.
