My buddy just told me the reproduction s don’t have the correct surface texture but I can correct that most likely.

Those repro's are not made like the originals, they are vacuum formed plastic, while the originals were molded.

You are doing a 70 car, and the 70 & 72 originals were smooth. There were some 71 cars that came with a textured surface, but they were a totally different grain then what was shown above.

I know you are looking for original appearing parts for your car, so wanted to let you know.

I also don't know what you would have to do to "smooth-out" those pieces.
