I need help figuring out where I can get the rubber bump stops for the upper & lower control arms off the front end of my '68 Buick Riv. I hadn't planned on replacing them, but one of the lower ones was just about broken off, so I need a set of lowers for sure. The local NAPA had some for a '71 Riv, but they attach w/ a bolt, while mine just pull a smaller wedge of rubber through a slot in the control arm. Any great ideas/sources out there? Thanks!
A frame bumpers Kristy - the upper bumpers are still available from Mr. Goodwrench (Bumper, Upper Control Arm - Gr. 6.176 #1362014) - don't know about the lowers, but here's a part number you can try - (Bumper, Strg. Knuckle Control Arm - Gr. 6.176 #1367754). :TU:
goodwrench search help Hi Randy, Thanks for the help....I can't seem to get a search on the goodwrench site to yield anything using those terms or #s, though. Do you have a link for the site you found? I did find the upper bumpers on oldbuickparts.com, but still haven't found any lowers...and those are what I'm desperate for! Thanks!
A frame bumpers Kristy - just get your local GM parts guy to run the numbers (to see if they are available) and order them. Sorry - I don't have a link. :TU:
