At the swap meet today for $7!

The first one is a 1975 # 7045202. I think its Chevy since its a side inlet.

Now the second one is missing the top and some inards, but I ran that number already. Tell me this is really what I think its is. # 7043242. Plus, there is a pink diamond sticker on this carb that says 242.

    Score???????

    Dan,

If you think the "242" Q-Jet is from a 73 Stage 1, I think it's safe to say your thinking is correct...NICE score!! :TU:

Thanks Brett, thats what my numbers say to. Looks like I won't be owning it long via PM from another member. Can I ask another question? I'm not into numbers and I've been offered a 74 455 Carb for it. Both 800s right????

Thanks Adam. I'm gonna rebuild another 800 for back-up use. OR use it on that big pile-of-crap clogging my garage.
