I have a older widow neighbor who has a 79 Chrysler New Yorker with 22,000 miles on it. It was her husbands car. Well it got rear ended a few months ago. My body guy really came through, but we are having alot of trouble finding a rear bumper. The original bumper has almost crystalized under the chrome, and isn't repairable. Has anyone come across a clean core or a useable bumper in one of their junkyard walks? I really need to find one and have used up all my resources and as much as I can find about mopars on the internet. Any help or leads would be appreciated. Tony
Isn't the 1979 Chrysler Newport rear bumper the same ? This could help you when searching for a used bumper.... :TU:
