Ok I have a 64 wildcat i an building. It will have a 450-500hp 455 in it. I have 2 center sections that drop out like a 9inch ford. I would like a 336/323posi set up I would even go with the rare 390 set up if I have to. I have a very tight 293 posi out of a 71 225. I think its a 293. I would like to use the posi unit but i understand i cant. so any one tell me were to find what i need and then what to do with the 71 posi??? anyone want to trade?? or do i ave to seel and buy my way to what I want? You can have a spacer made ...I can maybe get this made with my machinist.. try to stay cost effective as I can. We need the carrier offset difference between the 2.93 and 3.23 3.42 carrier. We might be able to use a spacer from a PONTIAC / OLds gasser rear in the same time era. Brad at fab craft metal works has the pontiac / olds spacers. These spacers could have the same bolt pattern and thickness need to bump your high carrier to a lower carrier gear set. (reference pictures)
