Need ID on a posi carrier

    Numbers look like: 216 05 105 ,2821960 . Does that mean anything to anyone? Both bearings are the same size and its supose to be for a BOP. Has 2.92 gears.

    pyro225 Heres to fireworks safety

    I just went through the new Buick Chassis and Parts Manual I got from gearheadcafe. Couldn't find anything like those numbers but I really don't know how to use this thing to identify parts. I'm interested how one would go about identifying a part like this. I see part #'s listed like "5.528" for a differential in the diagrams - is this one a "5.105"? Any significance with the rest of the numbers? Sorry I couldn't add more than questions. Now if that differential turns out to be for 69-70 Electra/Lesabre/Wildcat :Brow: ...
