need info. on heads and block

can someone tell me what these are

On block # 1231738

the 1238148 is a 70-72 455 head
the 1231738 is a 70-71 455 block

1st head is a 72

2nd head is a 71

 

Are these Good?

Are these good heads and block, I mean are they worth building? are the cc on the heads good?

Stock I believe they are mismatched heads. 72 is a different design-- smog head. Get you a set of matched heads. Since the Al heads came out there are a lot on the market.

 

Whats the difference between the two heads he has listed?
You say one is a smog head! Thats the 72 right?

But they are the same CC head! Both 71cc.

Jim they are 2 sets of heads, I guess the 71 heads are better, One on engine one set in trunk. The car is a 68 Skylark Custum. Does anyone need some parts off a 68?
