... yes Bruce...when you get a chance 2 find the # for that info on pace cars....will be great... ...Eric....there was a 76 pace car (project) in the L.A. area on ebay about 5-6 months ago...not bad either very do-able....I had someone from this board who was suppose 2 go take a better look at it for me...but they never bothered...or maybe took it away...o No: ..and there was a complete restored 75 pace car from california on ebay at about the same time...but I think his reserve was 11,000...nobody came close...I talked 2 the seller after the close of the auction....I had a buddy who was interested ..and asked him if he would be interested in $9k...the seller said he had over $15k in the car...and needed 11k....he sent me pics...the car was 100%...
PACE CAR uzzled: Frank,I would like a project, not more than about 2500 or so. I like to work on them as well as look at them. I tried for the one in Indy but never got a reply. I tried for the one in Canada but am hung on shipping costs......I'll eventually find another or maybe even my old ones!!!!!!!
Eric..the one in canada.....it doesnt look lagit...the interior ia all wrong....its red...and plent of rust the one in indiana.....I talked 2 that guy....its pretty much a basket case......the way I see it ..it was a good parts car.....unless you can perform magic...o No:... now, the one in L.A....was all there ....but lost the contact #...didnt know what happened 2 that nice project ....communication got lost with a member on this baord....(leave it at that)......
Pace car My 76 had black cloth swivel buckets that were sort of silver and purple in the middle-very unique. All power options, T-tops, and old Western style wheels that were supposed to be real. It did not have a hood scoop, but had black bezels, spoiler, decals, etc. Man I miss it!! I'll take a complete parts car as long as it is all there I'll make it work. Keep your eyes open!!! ...thinking Bruce....I was thinking ..if they just do a country wide search on pace car through title/registrations.. the #'s would be much much higher...for example on my registration/title it just shows it as a 1976 century...which in essence it is...I think you would get every 76 century in the country...maybe 1000's ...but on the gs I just obtained ..on the title it states it as 1972 - buick-grand sport..instead of "skylark"
