Need some help with turbo 400 id

1980 350 CI Buick

 

So the BB on the I'd tag ??anything good??probably not lol

 

Just was wondering about the BB on the tag

 

Well it makes for some good conversation, How come they used BB on a 1980 Electra tag !!! lol maybe they was thinking it would go faster

 

Yeah. BB tag in 1980 meant Buick engine in the Buick. BO tag meant Olds 350 diesel in the Buick.

 

Everyone always said BB Trans tag is a Stage 1 , be nice if it had some good stuff in this one, I was surprised to see the Id tag and seen it was a 80 the color of it gave me the first clue!! Just put it out here for the fun of it, makes a good learning form right!!

 

That's ok I have a BA in the barn also that one can be played with some for a bark or two lol ,I guess the 80 has something going for it is a short shaft and the right bell housing. On it, and it's a turbo 400

 

Dug this one out today. Thinking it came out of a Riv but dont really remember.
