Thank you Dale. I like the pic of yours with the road wheels and the Goodyears. Some day I will probably end up buying a set of rallys for it but for now I like the caps. If you didn't tell me your 225 was a '72, I would have thought that was my car 21 years ago.

When I see that pic, I am always reminded that it was like 110 degrees outside, and about 60 degrees inside the car.
Hurry up and take the picture Woman! :kodak:

Went to the forest preserve today to take some real pics.

I'm not sure if I should paint the wheels Sandalwood to match the car or not. What do you guys think?

    Man, I don't know. That's a tough call. :idea2:
Maybe paint one to make a comparison? :Do No:

    Really a nice car Mike.

Paint the wheels to match the top. I've seen many cars over the years that had wheels matching the vinyl top and it provides a nice contrast.

    Looks real good..

I would paint one and compare,, maybe even an flat gray.

I agree the BFg's would look killer..

That crossed my mind, but I don't think there would be much difference between the black they are now and a dark brown.

I think the white walls are messing with my mind's eye.

I like the majority opinion. I'll paint 1 or 2 Sandalwood and make my decision from there. If it looks stupid, I can always strip them and go back to black.

Mike, the car looks real good.I would suggest painting just the area not covered by the caps and the trim rings on two wheels. You could then stand back and decide if that's the look you want,if not, paint them back black.I like it the way it is,my two cents.

Edit:you beat me to it,good thinking.
