I have run across one of my dream cars, an all original 66 Wildcat GS. Would anyone have any production data for this model? I would also like to know what ballpark price an all original example would command.

    Many thanks in advance

they didnt build very many at all.. I've only ever seen one and it required me to spin my neck around while driving down the road... How much they asking? What bodystyle is it? 2X4?

A little over 1200 produced split almost evenly between hardtops
and droptops. Also the interior trim options were split between
standard and custom trim between the models.
I need more info for a value...........

    Hi
I happen to own one of these 66 Wildcat GS convts. best number on convts is production of 198, total convts, options could bring total production way down. Believe only 7 were production equipped with the 2x4.
There is one on e-bay now a convt, no title.
Price can range from 5K to 40K
There is an early model that has script name plates, sometime after 1st of year (1966) block letter were used.
If you are planning to purchase one of these cars, make sure that the owner has documents to prove original GS.
If you need any more information you cah write me .

Jim, i have the production figures that Wayne got out of Sloan archives and the 198 total for convertables you quote is for custom interior cars. They also made about the same number
of them with standard interiors. That one in Arcadia on e-bay is just 30 miles from me. Peace WildBill

Saw a '66 Wildcat GS just a few miles west of Alma, MI on Rt 46, yesteday. Jim Robertson looked at it said it needed some work. Tan with several different shades on doors versus the rest of it. Price was $6,900. Looked like it had a CA black plate on the front this morning. I didn't look at it up close, no room for more!!
