I cant afford a posi now and im looking at cheeper alternatives. Im looking through Jegs and they have many types of traction bars. They have no-hop traction bars, lift bars, traction action bars, and ladder bars. What are the differences? Which will give the best traction off the line with no posi?
bassically what you want is posi. :TU: nothing will make a larger difference than both wheel action. good factory units go for like 150-250 dollars. these units are clutch type and are cheap and easy to rebuild. Find a local guy who sets up rears, and it will only cost arouun 100 bucks. porbably run you a total of 500 bucks ifyou are patient and wait for the parts to become available. of course, this is assuming you habe an 8.5" rear. if you dont, then you should look into one anyway.
i have a 69 gs 350. the origonal owner decided not to get posi, oh well. i think its an 8.2? sense its a 69.
