When reading a Delco parts # how do you determine the size of the needle? I have a 30-157 and all the way down to a 30-141.
What is the largest we can run on a built up 455 Q-jet?

The answer depends on how you drive the vehicle. 0.135 is just about the max for reliable street operation.

For race only (no idle), you can go up to about 0.150.

The use of the larger fuel valve on a street car will almost guarantee flooding at idle.
