As of to day there is another GS that is in our household. You all will be greatly impressed that I have successfully converted a Ford owner(step-son)to the ranks of a GS owner as of today! The 1990 Mustang GT will be probably be hitting the blocks soon and the GS will be parked in its space. This news is like someone telling me I won the lottery. He has been impressed at this site and the amount of parts I have accumulated. Now,I have to tell him the bad news. Those rare parts also have a price tag. It needs some work but,he is excited about it.As of now it has a 350 with a console, pdb, exceptional interior,15 in. ralleys, most of the chrome trim options, gauges with tach.It currently has a different motor and tranny but I have a 70 350 motor we are planning on building(though he wants to put my 462 in it) and we are getting all the original motor and tranny plus all the correct pieces that originally came with it.As a bonus,we are also getting the Sloan documentation as well as the original window sticker for it too.We are hoping to be able to have it in its new resting area in the next week or two.Hopefully, before the white stuff flies. Attached is a pic.

It was kinda local about 1 1/2 hours away.It was listed on ebay by a board member and even listed on v8 that it was going soon.He had an ad in a local paper and we decided to make a road trip to look. The deal was struck and now there will be a 70,71,72,73 GS here.I am so proud. I knew I could convert him:laugh:  Now I have to educate his younger brother.:Brow: :Brow:

Wow Pat, that car looks awfully familiar!:eek2:  You should see my brother's car now as he has the dogdish hubcaps on, it definately makes a big difference. That's definately a nice looking GS. During the winter we should get together sometime.:TU:

    Rob,
Yeah the 1/4s need replaced and the typical trunk areas too and we are going to contact Mike Garrison about a radiator support patch kit but its still a genuine GS and we will have a great time at spring Carlisle.I am game to meet up sometime over the winter.Maybe I'll shoot down your way and we can shoot the breeze about our Buicks.

Let me know what you need as I got a '72 waiting for ya:Brow: I can rent a trailer as it wouldn't be a problem to haul it up if you still want it. I'll see if I can get my brother to get a pic up as those dogdishes look sweet on that car. He also got the front spoiler off of me and got that on also, it surely made a difference.

He has the N-25, but sold the tips. The one had a hole in it and he said he would just get repro's to replace the originals. As far as the originals are made, I wasn't too impressed. If he got rid of the N-25, which I know he would never do I would have to :spank: him, lol. He told me he will get a pic on tomorrow.

Exactly my thought, Rob! :TU: Looks just like your brother's car. Until I read your post, I thought maybe Pat had bought it off him.

Pat, looks great! Very nice car indeed. I'll bet you're happy to have another GS to monkey with. All the more fun! Good luck with it. So, does that car belong to your boy that was at Berwyn? Or another youngin?

Hope to see that one this summer. :TU:

    Ken,
This is the older brother.Dustin wanted to come to Berwyn but he had to go to a wedding instead. His brother Dylan who was with me had to rub it in for weeks about going.I am hoping to have mine in primer and be able to go to the BPG Nats next year. Then maybe bring it to Berwyn.Hopefully we can bring both to them.As for the monkeying around.I already have a full plate with mine but whats one more?

Hey Pat, I had to go outside to make sure you didn't steal my car! That is sure nice looking! Sometime Rob and I will have to make trip up to see all your beauties. I also want to get your input about Beaver Springs drags since we have been kicking around the idea of having an early spring Buick event at house here. We figured that we could house at least 200 cars here. Also being very central, I am hoping that we could get some more folks from out west and south. Anyhow, I finally got some updated pics of Isabel for you all... I posted a thread in the members section about it but here's a direct link...
