Congrat Gary. Nice work. Moving away from the Goodyear slicks? For the M/Ts will you be running these: 3062S - 29.5/10.5-15S ? What amount of rear tire pressure seems to be working for you? John
I have the GY #2009's.......Wrong for our "heavier" cars. The correct # is 1790,When I got my new set they were just starting to make the two different tires in this size,I was un-informed. I've been running them at 12.5psi cold I got the MT's off of a Guy that runs his car in NSCA Limited Street,They are the 3062s. Just wanted to see how they "feel" so I know which ones I want in the Spring when I buy new ones...Might look for a chance to try some Radials too. Thanks for the compliment,Are you done for the year?Doing the cage/safety updates?
Damn I love that car! I hope to see it in person someday. Don't change a thing! It's light enough :TU:
Yep. Done for the year. Last weekend I made it to the quarter finals after going five rounds. Ended the season with a best ET of 10.03 @ 134. It was soooo nice getting through a full year without any major carnage. Car is coming apart as we speak for updates to the cage, a freshen up, and a diet. Still at 3700lbs (with me). Would like to get it in the 3400lb range. Still hoping for the BBB new block to pan out. If they get something going soon, maybe I'd be back by '08. Until then I'm putting my focus into seat time. It's cool to see you sticking with it. With fresh tires, airpan & good air, I'll call a "thirty-something" for you. Keep us updated.
Man, that's an impressive bottom bulb race. Those foot brake guys are killers these days. That looks like a "box" race back when I was in the weekly wars. Good job, Gary.
it must have been a good weekend for Buicks I up my best to a 10.17@131 going again this weekend and it gona be cold out!!!!!!in the 50's hope to get a 10.0? before time it put it away!!! :beer
Seat Time... Glad you posted "no power adders". I would hate to think you only picked up a tenth with nitrous or something... Its good to hear your back up and running with a little lighter setup. Once the motor seats the rings and with some tweaking it should pick up even more. :TU:Is your motor the same combo you ran before?
