I ended up sanding a out 1mm or less off each pad on both sides and they fit. It was definitely a tight fit regardless....I can tell that the caliper mounting brackets are slightly "cocked" as the powder coating most likely had an effect on the geometry. For now the wheels turn. I'm a year from driving this car so will see how it stops later.. thanks all.
