I am in need of a complete wiring harness for my newly acquired 72 GS. I have been searching online but so far can only locate Universal kits. Does anyone have a lead for a direct fit kit. This car has zero wiring so I need everything. Thanks Cliff
Lectric Limited seems to have a bunch of stuff also? Painless is another vendor. I have never used any of these FYI.
Cliff i have a 72 GS455 and installed M&H engine harness. Just go on Todd's' website or better yet call him, he will have ALL you need!
Thanks guys for all the referrals. I see them and appreciate them!! I have a a lot of Wiring Harnesses in stock for the 1970 - 1972 Buick's and all are priced below Retail! Lectric Limited is made here in the USA off of the GM Blue Prints so good stuff as well!
Several years ago, I bought a harness for a 71 GS 455 from a member on here that had a Lectric Limited harness for sale. It looked light Original Equipment!. I was THOROUHLY pleased!
Was looking on line yesterday, for harnesses for a Chevelle project of mine. American autowire, lectric limited, and M & H all had the same part numbers for some of the items I need. Is one of them making them, and sending them to the others?? How much is actually domestically sourced? The prices were just about the same, also, so they must be watching each other would assume.
They are pretty consistent with part numbers but generally speaking each company makes it's own products. I don't have Chevelle stuff in stock but can order it in and save you a few bucks if you're interested.
If new harnesses are not a option, I have a mint set of under dash wiring in both AC and non AC for 72. One has provisions for power accessories, I cannot recall which. Also have a couple under hood harnesses for headlights. (1) 350 engine harness not butchered up. A couple of rear tail light harnesses also. Interior opera light harness, but no dome light harnesses. No more blue rear speaker wire or trunk light harness. Zero rear defogger wire kits. Still have a couple of brown fuel sender wire kits. No dash tach wiring adaptors. Let me know if I can help John
