greetings to all. i have an 87 buick that is currently on its second 231. i recently traded some auto repairs for a 1975 cadillac seville with an olds 350 in it. i am going to rip the powertrain out of the cad, rebuild it withe a few goodies from edelbrock and put it into my regal. ok, that's the background, heres the problem.......i have been doing some research on the web for info on how to do this swap. the y code 307 and the motor i have are the same block. my car is set up for a v6 tho. in 87 the optional carbed motor was the y code 307. will this olds 350 bolt into the same spot as my 231 or do i get to move engine mounts? how hard is it to move engine mounts? the cad had a th 350 tranny in it that i want to use. how ared is it to swap out the 200c for a th350?
    any help would be appreciated.

Hi Mike....and Welcome to the board

While I cant offer any particular advice there is a topic calld "Regals with Extra Cylinders" that may be more helpful to you.....try making another post there.

thanks for the info. i'll give them a try :) i did find out that i need to take the mounting pads out of the cadillac. i did notice that the "K" member in my car is already drilled out to fit many different mounts. i have been researching this problem for some time now and it looks like a straightforward switch when the donor car is complete.
