Hello fellow Buick fans. This site is terrific. I had no idea there were so many other Buick nuts and awesome Buicks out there. I don't feel alone anymore. My name is Andy. I'm originally from the Jersey shore and I got started with Buicks back in 1985. A neighbor of mine had this 1970 Skylark four door for sale. (pic below) It sat for years so I took over a fresh battery, pumped the gas a few times and the thing started instantly. I was impressed. I bought it for $125.00 as a beater car and was very impressed with the power. In the 80's a stock Skylark could beat most of the cars on the road and I won many street races with Buicks back then. I was hooked. I've had my current 70 Custom (pics on pg 4 of members rides) since '87 and it's the last street car I bought. It's now back on the road after a ten year restoration. Plans are for a big block and 600HP.
