Just got my 1st buick, project! I am in need of a good 68 GS grill mine is a wreck (does any body repop these things seems like a good thing to do ) also a set of 68 buckets and possibly a good Pass. fender and a straight front bumper I am new and don't know where to find this stuff or what it should cost but I gotta have them! Thanks, Chris
Oh well! I just got the car yesterday so I'm not in a real hurry I would like to have the parts by spring though! send me some pics. any way !
Chris, I have a set of 68 Skylark bucket seats. Good shape. I am asking $200 plus shipping or you could pick them up. If you interested let me know. I can send pics. Thanks, Preston wolftop20@hotmail.com
Chris, I also have a bunch of parts off of my old 69 skylark that would work for you. Preston wolftop20@hotmail.com
seats I found a really nice set of 69 seats out of a Cutlass I think but in really good shape if anyone needs them or has a set of 68 seats that they would trade fo a set of 69's let me know. also looking for a console and auto floor shifter! I got a bumper that is good enough for right now but still looking for a fender and a grill I WOULD TAKE A REGULAR SKYLARK GRILL if it is nice or something I can use for parts to fix my GS grill!!!!!
A '68 Skylark grill is the same as a '68 GS grill except for the color. A GS grill is painted black in the center and a Skylark grill is silver. If you find a good "Skylark" grill, just paint the center black. The '68 Sportwagon and Special used a different grill (it had more horizontal bars) so be carful when buying "parts" grills to fix yours. :beer
thats the plan, I was talking to Gary Paine yesterday and that was his suggestion as well. Mine is pretty bad and I would rather find oue I could paint than have to fix mine
See if Frank McIntyre wants to sell the grille I sold him at Salem, as he found a better one. I have a couple of sets of '68 buckets, that need recovering, might be able to bring to Norwalk next week, they are white, and I don't remember the condition, so I can't give you a price at the moment! Email me on anything else you think you would need if you can come to Norwalk, cause I have half a basement full of '68 GS parts, well not quite half, but close!
seats! Roberta, any news on the seats? I am looking at a couple different sets and just wanted to narrow down my search a little!
