    El Taco 1965 Buick Riviera

    Hi.
I'm Dave. I used to happily drive my 65 Riv around the west side of town, until my trans cooler sprung a leak. Now I live in town. Ugh. Near the end of the month, I'll be in a house, and I can go get my muscle car from Dad's.

I miss the way it floats when you stomp on the gas. I miss the way the pedal felt, especially during the aforementioned action. Mostly, I miss having a 2 door hardtop wrapped around me.

I miss the whole "cool" thing that kind of disappeared aroung 1970 something for most models. I think having the Buick again will pull me out of this custom motorcycle phase. I've been on two wheels for almost two months straight, and I've been collecting bikes for chopping. I've just been stuck in an apartment.
    :blast: apartments.

So far, they've sugared my gas, knifed my seat, and poured syrup all over the bike. F*** apartments.

Time again to return to my first love. One that I can mount a massive capacitor in the trunk somewhere. One that can have high voltage signs in the windows to avoid lawsuits.

Anyhow, I go back and forth. I'll build a bike to get around, then come across a cool old car. When I must have transportation, I'll get something going for sure. Here's the thing. I finally have a half decent job. Maybe the Buick can be the first car I ever actually insure. It's a keeper, unlike that 69 R/T Charger I had a couple years back. I am now the proud owner of a Charger emblem, a couple of R/T emblems, and NOTHING else that is Mopar. Never again. Better just to look at the pretty pictures, then get in my (GM model here) and drive away. I should probably shut up now. Thanks BuickStreet.com for sending me to a pretty cool site. :3gears:
