Great to hear that a June race is back on :TU: . Will try like he** to be there. If I get off my a$$ it may be a good race to debut the Runner :3gears:
No, like the September race the car count is not limited and no pre registry, you will pay at the gate. FYI, I talked to Greg last night and he expects the Mailer to go out this week. For those not on the P/S mailing list but aware of the event, show up at the gate, pay and play! :beer
I'll be there! Hi all! New member here. I've Been to several races over the years but finally have my own car. I bought a 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger that raced in the 2003 Norwalk, OH F/S race. I think it's great this next race is in Dayton as it'll allow me to drive my Dart.......only 3 hours from home in Lexington, KY. See ya there!
Update Spoke to Greg and the mailer went out yesterday so most folks should see it Sat or Mon. Except our Canadian friends, it might take till Friday. I am going to get a copy of the mailer to post for download. FYI to all: The hotel, track and dates are all listed in this thread and are all correct information so you can make plans even if you are not on the mailing list.
Flyer for the June Race (in adobe) Rules are the same as the Pure Stock Race in Sept http://www.Purestockdrags.com Hotel info: Holiday Inn Dayton/Fairborn 2800 Presidential Drive Fairborn OH 45324 For Special Rate Mention: Factory Stock Musclecar Shootout
I got word from Greg that the 100 Holiday Inn rooms set aside for the Kil-Kare June race are sold out. He is getting another 50 set aside so if anyone had problems they can call again. Barring that there is another hotel next door, I hope to have a name later on.
Just made my reservations so I'll be there sometime Friday morning. Will be bringing the lowly Challenger though instead of the Runner.
Will be good to see you again, Lon. :TU: Beware of the Olds tech guy....................... :Brow:
May be bringing instead the Pure Stock Intrepid! I'm currently w/o a tow vehicle :ball:. The tandem axle Dodge is still in the shop after splitting the overdrive case (and catching fire), the wife needs my V10 for the horse show this weekend, her diesel is down til I get it to pass inspection and the diesel dump crapped its' Getrag tranny. Oh well, that seems to be the way it goes for me. Still going to be there to take pics :TU: Lon OO====OO
