    Hi ,I'm the new kid in town ,,,Marco suggested I contact you folks ,,I have a '71 GS convertible and the only question is whether she's a real Stage1 or a 455 ,either is fine with me.I would like to come and say hello to you guys this sunday ,as Marco told me there is a meeting of sorts up in Readers Digest NY.Please send details ,directions ,info ,,,whatever.I'll send a crappy picture of my GS in my next e mail ,,she's in primer ,but I've been driving her for a few years while collecting parts ,and now she's ready for the shop.Hope to show you on Sunday......SUNDAY ,SUNDAY ,SUNDAY !! ..................CRUISIN' LOU

    Glad to see you on the board. I didn't see this post asking for help/directions to the NE chapter meet. Sorry. Please e-mail me directly next time for directions. There are SEVERAL great people on Long Island that you can hook up with for events.

    You'll find the best group of guys here. As far as local events are concerned, we'll be having a picnic in spring and fall, in addition to Buick Performance Weekend on labor day at Englishtown. I know carl organizes some cruise nights at Marcus Dairy in CT.

    All pertinent information about these events is always posted on this board.

    Did you find your VIN on the 'BB' transmission?
