Recently got a set of 15 x 7 rallies off ebay. Wanted to see what size tires 65 skylark convertible owners are running. Rear frame to wheel well opening ain't that big. I was thinking about 235 60 R15s. I'm looking for a decent fill under the wheel wells, but not super fat. Pics of 65s would be appreciated, saw some good ideas with the late 60s, early 70s Skylarks/ GSX rides on other threads. Regards, Brad T.
Welcome Brad. You can fit 245-60-15 all the way around with no rub. I've seen 275-60-15 on the rear but they are real close and might rub on hard cornering, but they look real mean. I hope to test fit a ratty pair of the 275's this season just to make sure.
