I do understand where your coming from Keith and I have myself learned a lot from all original guys
In fact have a bit tucked in my memory on a couple models in what's correct.
While not what my currrnt cars are
I respect what it takes to have a car orig like you do.I also respect individual tastes.
OP car was probally dealer or soon after modified back in the day that in it self is part of history of what it is.
In its own way this modified riv is history of what was going on at that time
There is a way to explain this to people to encourage them and teach them.
And a way to discourage them from the car hobby.

Originality has its place. But individualism is a big factor in todays classic car culture.

I am so sorry this all went so wrong. This was never my intention to make so many so upset. I apologize for hurting anyone and am very regrettfull I responded to those who told me to dump the top and ditch the top and don't do this or do that. I will pray very hard tonight for God to help me in becoming a better person. Please forgive me everyone. I am truly very sorry.

Keep us posted and actually I would like to see some pic's of the interior as it's suppose to be real wood?:)

I am sorry things got heated, never intended to cause any of that, I got too offended, sorry, I like the roof on it and bought it because it had it, its a driver car, not nice enough to ever be a car able to be shown at a show, I just want to get it running and drive it and get the floors fixed and get the wire wheel fixed on the one side or replace it, need 2 wire wheels but will buy all 4, thanks for all the input, love the site

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

Welcome. I see more of those Rivs with the glas top around than without. I like them either way. Those rims look way better than the wire wheel covers.
