new pics of my 69 GS400 4sp conv

Just thought I would upload a few more pictures of my original unrestored 69 champagne mist poly 4speed conv. Original engine should be here next week. Put a battery in her and checked some of the lights and the top. So far everything works great. She needed alot of cleaning and some elbow grease. But for a car that has been sitting for over 20yrs. Not to bad. I guess you have to start somewhere. How many of these 4sp do you think were this color?

I would like to see them too. When we were young a buddy got a 69 GS Stage 1 for his 16th. It was black with white int. and an auto. Very nice car. He wrapped it around a tree.

Any new progress on this car ? Or is this gonna be a drive it as it is? As long as it's roadworthy reliability-wise, I'd drive it. Good running engine and good brakes , top down and GOOOOOOO !!!!!!:beers2:

 

I forgot to mention that the one my buddy bought when we were kids was also a vert. Black with white top white int. console auto.
