After trying to buy tips from several vendors and being able to get anything correct and get stock. We ended up coming across an NOS exhaust tip which we used as our pattern. Attached are pictures of the first sample tip. You won't need to buy NOS ones, paying high prices. I will post when stock is available. If you want to place a pre-order they will be $225 pr. until stock comes in then they will go up to $249.

Shane I realize that had to be a tough decision on the diameter issue. Stock pipes I think were 2 1/4 inch although many have gone to 2 1/2 or even 3 inch repros. I had some original N 25 tips and they may have been 2.5 inch ID but I have never measured them.

They are approx. 2.25" I.D. The NOS Tip we have was a little crude where the tail pipe enters. It was easier to go off the outer diameter and use a pipe that matched that...

Shane I believe that you would sell more by offering them with a 2.5" and a 3" diameter.
How about reproducing the brackets as well????:TU:

    Shane,
The tips look very nice. What are they stainless or chromed?
Just for the record, original tips are 2" ID to go over 2"OD original tailpipes.
N-25 hanger brackets are available in stock, 2 1/2, and 3 inch sizes. Check my web site.
Dennis Wheeler makes 2 1/2 and 3 inch tips. He's on thiis board as well.

just curious, we have a group of people making the repros and now the parts place is producing a similiar product, why are the same parts being reproduced, instead of others that we need? or am i missing something

In this business you can't sell from an empty wagon... We contacted Dennis about buying stock, but he couldn't supply us with the quanity we would need to stock on our shelf. You guys also know that we offer the option of turning a standard rear bumper into a bumper with the N-25 option. The tips are under high demand because most people need a set of tips to go with their bumper. Also a friend of our company brought a set of his tips he had gotten from Dennis, and we took a look; while they are very nice high quality tips, they are not correct. They are great if you are running larger exhaust and dont care that they do not look 100% factory up close. Also ours are chrome plated like the original, not stainless.

This might be off topic. Has anyone done a N25 tip mod to a 64 or 65 Skylark rear bumper:Do No:

I understand the business need to have tips to go with the bumpers. What about N-25-correct tailpipes to fit those 2.25" ID tips (and bumpers)?

We sell exhaust systems and one can be ordered for N-25 option...

The jig is made to fit a 70-72 bumper, so we wouldn't be able to to modify your bumper with the openings.

Didn't know that. Catalog shows one stock#, with no mention of N-25 availability. Makes it look like the generic A-Body system everybody sells. Also, you might want to put size in your N-25 Tip listing. Some may not know they're 2.25"...
