Regretfully these are dirty pics but ever since I have put them on (last friday) we have had flash flood caliber rain. Supposed to be nice all weekend so I plan on washing them then. They are 18x8 mb oldschool gunmetals with 235/50/18 firestone firehawk wide oval indy 500's. Also a big thanks to LARRY70GS for basically giving me an education on tire sizes..
Thank you! Im very happy with them. Along with a new centerlink, its a world of difference driving it.
Im not really a fan of aftermarket rims... But... I like 5 spoke, you didnt go too big, and they look great. A+:TU:
Thanks and yeah the biggest Id ever go is 18...original plan was 17's til I found out they werent making these rims anymore.
Car looks great. You choose some nice locations for pictures as well. :TU: I'm a fan of those Firehawk Indy 500 tires. That's all I use on my daily driver. I have a set on there right now that I bought in 2007, that have over 100k miles on them, and still have some miles left on them.
Thanks, I do have a small photography background but Im still exploring areas of syracuse to take good pics with it. Also snapping as many pics I can as fast as possible as there can be some shady characters around the "artsy" parts. The car wash ones I took so I could have atleast one pic before they got a little dirty (our roads are a mess after some flooding a week ago). And Im glad to hear that on the tires, that gives me some piece of mind. Im real happy with them to this point, its a daily driver til October for me so they will get a lot of use.
Those rims look great on that body style. I think you made a wise choice. any further plans with the ride.
Thanks, as soon as I saw them I knew thats what I needed, very happy with the price too. Well I would like to paint the car Im gonna hold off til its not a daily driver (and until I no longer live and park in downtown syracuse). Short term though finally going to do speakers...little more long term would like to have the front seat recovered.
Theres a big car show i've heard about that goes on in Syracuse every year,,,any idea what its called and when it is??:beer
Gotta be Syracuse Nationals, has to be by far the biggest car show in NYS, and I believe its the second largest in the northeast behind Carlisle. People do come from all over for it, something like 8-10 thousand cars show up. Last year was my first year and it was in mid july and was a three day event (fri/sat/sun).
