Just out of curiousity, why would you want to do that? Dont be so quick to remove the points. There's nothing wrong with them. They have served the auto industry for years and years. Learn how they work and master the theory first. Get a 1969 Buick service manual and start reading. Once you finish reading, start again at the beginning and re read it!
You can always do upgrades. Just keep the parts and pieces to turn back to stock. I don't think that mod will be a key vehicle value point. ElectraJim
