Greetings all... stumbled across this board when I was on GoDragRacing.com. Looks pretty cool so far.

I have a 1966 Buick Skylark, 2dr/ht w/ blue paint and blue interior. Originally a 300-2 car, then went with a '65 4v intake on a 300-2 long block, then a 400horse sbc (I know--sacrilidge), now she has a new heart...   Not your typical 65-67 Lark motor tho.

Had the 2speed automatic till I blew that up. Since then I've gone through about 12 TH-350's (some BOP, some GM Patterned). Still the stock rear w/ 15k on it since the rebuild.

Edelbrock IAS shocks w/ Hotchkis springs. Still waiting on sway bars.

Other than that and a few old hot rod tricks thrown at it, she's doing well at 120,000 miles... that poor old lady who sold me the car is turning in her grave by now with all the motors and transmissions that have gone thru the lark.

The car's name is Joan, and often referred to as the "Blu-ick"

Thanks txg! I do love my Joan... and to think, I almost picked up a Chevelle instead! I'm definately really glad I didn't.
