We need a set of sport mirrors and a patch panel for the right rear quarter panel, just behind the wheel to fix a 2" hole. It seems like a guy a few months back said he had one, but did not have the $$ to buy then.
Do you have a local yard that might have some 70s GM cars in there which could serve as a donor for the mirrors? There are a number of donors makes and models I think listed on George's site. Just a suggestion as a cheap way to solve that issue. www.buickperformance.com
We do, Jim, but they are pretty well picked over. I think I have found all the useable salvage yard stuff available in central Oklahoma.
I'm sorry. I thought everyone here knew about the Oklahoma Academy Auto Shop project car. It is a 1972 GSX Stage 1(clone). Someone here has offered us a good deal on mirrors (thanks, Brett Slater! :TU: ). Now we need the lower patch panel for behind the right rear wheel opening. Perhaps someone has a bashed-in rear quarter panel that the lower corner is still good?
