For all you "puck heads" ( :Brow: ) I just heard it on Sportscenter....should be interesting to see how they try to win back the fan base they've lost over the last year....
Sweet Jesus! Man, I've been praying for this day! As a "true" Canadian, an "old-timers" hockey player, and a huge fan, this is great news. Now I have an excuss to invite the guys over more often to consume large amount of beer and nacho's!!! I can see myself getting fatter already  ! :beer :beer :beer Pete
Thank goodness!!! I grew up in Hockey Town and attend as many Preds games as I can now that I'm down here. I especially love when we play the Wings. I can't lose
They wasted a year but I'm still a big fan. Hockey has been a huge part of my life for close to 10 years and I could never hate that game. Also, each team will have an oppourtunity to get the 1st overall pick. Sidney Crosby is gonna make a huge splash in the NHL. Hoping he will be a future Red Wing.
We just have minor league in the Seattle area, but there is always Vancouver. When does the season start?
Well, at least I won't have to keep hearing about the "on strike" issues anymore. Not big on hockey, but glad the strike is over.
Hockey You fans are forgiving. The players don't give a hoot for you. They just want your hard earned money. If they loved the game so much, they'd play for a whole lot less money than what they're getting. They love you fans so much, watch how much the ticket prices go up. Not me. I couldn't care less about the sport. Here in Western New York, the tax payers paid for the new arena and for that, the fans get to pay top dollar for the right to see over payed cry babies getting $5000.00 a month while on strike. Oh!, you'll pack the arenas and all will be fine in the world of hockey. Out.
Lemmings Nothing against you hockey fans, but I can't believe that after all that BS you would still give them your money & time! At least for the first couple of games everyone should stay home, and turn their TVs off. Empty arenas, that would be hilarious!
I would never turn my back on a game thats been so good to me. Long Live Hockey and lets get on with the games.
