I had a bit of good luck junkyarding today.Drove about sixty miles away and found a 72 Skylark 4 door in a salvage yard:no seats or interiour parts or grille.I did get both front fenders no rust and very straight,both bumpers good cores,repairable core support,nice hood bar,and some small parts.This yard does not treat the old cars well and I lucked out on being here soon after this car arrived and got the parts before the yard destoryed them moving car around.Between myself and my 11 year old son we looked like a chop shop taking that Buick apart!!!!!!! Stopped on the way home and did a little fishing but my son agreed the catch of the day was the Buick parts.
keep looking! Keep looking and checking the junkyards and you too can get a good catch;I asked if they had any old Buicks before walking out to the back lot and the guy said he did not think they had any.Went out there anyways and found this car with a near as NOS fenders as I could have hoped for!!!!!!!
