Underhood is a quagmire. All wrong, looks like it can't make up it's mind on if it wants to be a correct restoration, or a look at me, I stole my Mom's credit card and bought every shiney piece of gew-gaw available in a Jegs Catalog:-( All it needs to finish it off are some hideous braided stainless hose covers. This is like guys who build a Gasser with a straight axle front, and wheel tubs in rear..... that's two different builds that don't go together, it sucks and looks stupid. Either be a Gasser, or a worthless pro street, but not both! Pick a style and go with it! Same with this Buick, victim of poor taste
Hindsight is always 20-20! I let it get away when it was listed at $35k. I was trying to stay focused on our Stage 1 build, but knew it was a great price for a solid piece of Buick racing history.
Man, listening to you guys rip this car apart has me wondering….. This car has real racing pedigree and championship season. It’s pretty sad. You do nothing for Buick’s future collectibles. https://www.hemmings.com/auction/19...m=PostLink&itm_campaign=LillyBelvedereFeature here ya go then. I’m looking at my poster I bought here of the Dave Benisek C/SA world champ car. Is this car for sale it?
Yes, and your opinion of the car and it’s current state differ from many of us, different strokes and all.
I can’t believe a National Champion Buick GS Stage 1 Is getting shot down on a Buick site. it’s like the Ray Allen 1970 LS6 vert National Champ car. real GM pedigree.
https://www.hemmings.com/auction/19...m_medium=email&utm_source=auctions_newsletter While the Buick gets shot down here. Just thought I would add this.
