I can't seem to get the air to come through the vents. I believe all the parts are there. The air only comes through the defroster vents and floor vent. Weird huh The ac compressor kicks in when I move the switch on the dash. But still nothing...
You have either a leaky diaphragm or a leak in a vacuum control line. Possible for both. Best starting point is a chassis manual which will show where each line goes & what it does. I have the same issue in my '71. This Winter the car is apart & I'll be tackling this job.
Sounds like a vacuum problem. Does the air only come thru the defroster ducts? That is a set defult from the manufacture if you loose vacuum to the HVAC system, AL.
