    Thanks for all of your thoughts and support
    after losing my Father, It was a long week, but time to move forward.
    Since he was the one who gave me an appreciation for collector cars, I thought I'd share a couple pics.
    He sold all these cars about 10 years ago.
    They aren't the best scans as this was my first venture to, dare I say it?...... KINKO'S! :gt:

    Anyways, other than the Upholstery, chrome and any engine machine work, my Father did everything himself. Including making parts that
    were either not available, or simply too expensive.
    I like to think that if he were restoring a GS today and needed an overflow bottle he would make one! :laugh:

    My favorite!

    Second one he did.. A 1940 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet. 1 of 350 convertibles built that year.
    silky smooth V12.
    If I win the lottery, I am hunting this car down!

    And lastly, Oldsmobile's inpsiration for the Toronado.

    A front wheel drive 1937 Cord Beverly Sedan.
    Originally a supercharged car, but lost it's Supercharged engine sometime in the 50's.

    Dale there is a 39-40 here in austin. man, those are some nice cars. Probably not a V12 but it is a very nice car. Identical to the one you posted. I will see if I can get a pic of it again at the local cruise night.
