Would thirty bucks for shipping be right!!! I get stuff sent to Australia for that sort of money or I could pay a Kiwi to swim here with it for less!!!!
NOS Parts Lot This is the whole pile of parts. It's somewhat similar to the one Brian Albrecht had up for auction a few months back, only I don't think his shipping prices were anywhere near what this seller's are..:eek2:
Like I've said before.... outrageously high shipping charges don't bother me a bit IF they're specified in the listing. Matter of fact, I prefer them high like this one... Many bidders will think "screw that... I'm not going to bid if the jerk is going to screw me on shipping like that" As long as they specify it in the auction, I'll just take that into account when determining how high I'll bid. It also saves the seller on eBay fees. You don't pay a fee to eBay on the shipping charges. Just the auction final value. I wouldn't mind paying $500 shipping on a 71GS grille if I got the grille for $10. Know what I mean? p Now if I bid on this cover and the shipping WASN'T specified.... then he tried to rape me for $30 shipping, I would be mad. :spank:
Rick, Point taken. It's just that sometimes I see auctions where the item won't sell for more than $10-$15 bucks and the shipping is like $25.00! I try to keep the shipping prices in my auctions somewhat reasonable.....o No:
shipping shipping should only be what it really cost to send it, because you are making more than if you took it to a swap meet, I have sent grills to California from Ohio and it only cost 20.00 from a 68 skylark with the chrome, mark ups on shipping are not fair and not good business my two cents. $30.00 :spank:
