Wheelz That is correct. While we were in the process of sorting things out, i was contacted about a car for sale that also has a bunch of extra parts including a grill. I should know something by Friday. However, i understand your situation and don't want to stand in the way of a possible quicker sale for you. If you have an interested party and feel you can't wait till Friday i will step back. Thanks
No worries Compta! lemono by Saturday morning if you dont need it...I'll post it to the others. :bglasses:
Ok RBGS dood....I'd LOVE TO tell you its yours, but, till then, send me a business shipping address and I'll get a UPS shipping quote for ya! btw...do you want everything I've listed? Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Ok,..well, its saturday. Compta didnt get back to me so he's out. Following board rules, next up is STAGEDone. . . then RBGS... :beer Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Wheelz, I'd love the setup but can't afford the price right now. Getting ready to send mine to the paint shop. Thank you
wow. I know money is tight for just about everyone. I cannot give this grille way but I will certainly entertain reasonable offers. :TU:
It appears that the market for real parts is slowing way down. Wheelz if I did not already have a couple of these I would go for it. I have a few local owners I'll get the word out in case they are not looking at the site. You doing a resto for a customer?
naaah John... the customers have all taken their money and gone home. Pix attached....you see I still have my 70 Stage 1, 4 speed, factory a/c car that I've been trying to complete for 6 years. The completely restored chassis is all assembled and done. EVERYTHING NEW. Its just sitting there. the bodywork is done, epoxy primered & covered up. in my garage. alongside the motor..done. and the muncie tranny done. I dont have the $1100 for Mercedes SILVER paint and materials.... or interior...or wiring. so little by little I am selling parts from the inventory I collected just for this car.... little by little. parts are going away. Dunno IF I'll ever finish it ..or not... This economy hurts. :ball:
Let me think on the console I am headed to BG in a few hours and when I get back the Suncoupe should be running right. The shop finally got the cam timed to the correct spec the owner had to do it himself and the cam that was supposed to be ground at 4 degrees advanced was actually at 7 advanced. A little TA 9 key Timing set and a good mechanic that knows what hes doing will finally let me get the car into the body shop and get the car on its way to being done.
