i have a 79 regal.. being an illinois car its entire life the bumpers were RUSTED... before i got the car the rear bumper was replaced with a .... malibu bumper of around the same year.. its not perfect.. but looks good enough for me... now the front bumper i cant find the right style(78-80)... so.. can i use a bumper from a later regal 81-87?? with the turn signals openings in the bumper?? will it bolt up and look right? i was going to just use the openings for air inlets and make some ducts to the engine...

so will a later one physically bolt up and look ok?? or are the lines and mounting points all wrong?

I believe the early Regals were narrower than the later model Regals. The late model Regals are shaped differently, and you will have clearence problems at the headlight and grille area when you try to bolt the bumper to your car.

Ive got a nice looking 80 regal bumper that I would part with. The only difference is it has turn signals in it. Let me know if your interested
